Mobility Rentals & Sales medical sheepskins provide comfort with reduced friction and moisture
- the cause of severe discomfort to people who spend long periods seated or lying, often leading to
pressure ulcers (decubitus ulcers).
These hospital grade sheepskins are able to absorb moisture, keeping the body dry even in hot
humid conditions, thus creating the ideal care environment to prevent pressure sores at all
times.
Our Australian Standard medical grade sheepskins are used by major care organisations such as
hospitals, nursing homes, and aged care facilities. They are recommenced by health professionals
for use by the elderly, people with reduced mobility, accident victims and those recovering from
surgery, or with chronic illnesses, and people suffering sleep disorders.
Medical grade Australian Standard sheepskins are urine resistant and washable up to
80oc (176.F) for hospital grade thermal disinfection. They are branded as compliant with
Australian Standard AS 4480.1-1997.
