| The Minuet is a low height nursing home care adjustable
bed, arguably the best hospital bed for home care use. Being able to adjust the
height for making this variable posture bed, serving food, or general nursing care, is very
important for the well being of the carer as well as the person confined
to bed. |

These are Huntleigh beds: our Minuet electric profiling
bed breaks down into 4 parts. The parts mount on a movable stand for easy
storage and transport. The bed adjustment functions (profiling) are determined by the electric hand
controller. Available controller functions
are:
1. Raise/lower head and foot of bed
2.
Raise/lower back rest
These
are also called two section beds. They have 3 silent electric
motors.
3. Raise/lower knee break
4. Tilt head/foot
These
are also called four section beds, with 4 silent electric motors. They include functions 1
and 2. The knee break helps reduce shearing
forces and prevents the user slipping down in the bed. The foot section can be manually raised
and lowered to the desired angle.
